For the first June recipe for Tuesdays with Dorie, I made the One Big Break-Apart Chipper. The final cookie is a nice combination of crispy edges and a softer middle, and it’s fun to break it apart to get irregular pieces. I used toasted pecans for the nuts, and, as usual, forgot to decorate the top. Guess I’m always in a hurry to taste test! But, when I plan to serve it to guests, I will be sure to add some pop to the top.
This was good! A good twist on a chocolate chip cookie!
